Principal Mind organises Leadership Trails in Nepal. The theme of these Trails is Personal leadership, meaning & mindfulness.

Leadership is about giving direction and taking control. Direction and control in your own life, in your work, in your team, in your organisation. The Leadership Trail offers experiences for the body, the mind, the heart and the soul. It creates the circumstances for awareness and reflection, for change and growth so that you experience, recognise and share your leadership.

The Leadership Trail offers a combination of academic, mental, spiriual and physical elements. Because in Nepal there is a completely different setting where nothing is like we are used to, we lose our grip. What we know is replaced by the unknown, a situation that enables us to look at our own morals and standards from a distance. It wakes us up and opens the windows of our mind and heart. We not only look from up close to the culture and way of living of the Nepalese people but we live through it ourselves. It is inevitable that we look at things from different perspectives and re-exam our current knowledge and skills. This creates a new understanding of ourselves, our work, our leadership. Our new insights will be verified on existing leadership theories during the various workshops in the Netherlands and in Nepal. The training of the mind by yoga and meditation intensifies the experience during the trail.

The Leadership Trail starts in the Netherlands with two workshops given by renowned speakers in the field of personal leadership. During our stay in Nepal there are several workshops at the University of Kathmandu and the International Buddhist Academy. Following the academic part there is the trekking in a remote part of the Langtang area. After the trekking it is time for an Ayurvedic retreat. Finally, there are two more workshops in the Netherlands to combine experience and theory.
